Twin Echo Elementary School is one of eight elementary schools in the Collinsville School District. There are approximately 250 students enrolled in grades kindergarten through fourth grade at Twin Echo. Our students are provided instruction rich in language arts and mathematics as well as science, social sciences, technology and health. Physical education and music classes are offered weekly as well. A variety of instructional methods and materials are used to ensure that the Illinois Learning Standards are being addressed in all areas. The faculty and staff at Twin Echo are highly qualified and very dedicated to the students and families, as reflected in our Vision and Mission Statements below.
Twin Echo's Vision and Mission Statements
Through the combined efforts of the Twin Echo staff, children, parents, and community, the students will become responsible and productive citizens who will exhibit academic knowledge, critical thinking skills, and positive character traits. A variety of educational strategies will be used to promote life-long learning.
In partnership with parents and community and using the Illinois State Learning Standards as the foundation of our curriculum, Twin Echo Elementary School's mission is to educate our students to become productive citizens by providing educational opportunities that combine scholastic knowledge and the academic skills needed to function in society.
In addition, Twin Echo Elementary School is committed to promoting a learning environment that fosters positive character traits in our students, teaches students to be responsible citizens, and maintains a school climate where students feel safe and free to learn.
